Yes, this separation was suggested and a group went ahead and petitioned already the UN regarding terrorism and women treatment in Islam.
I felt it’s the wrong way because the “exclusivity clause” of the religion is our problem and needs at least to be voiced out loud. (I don’t expect much from UN, but at least to voice our reasonable concerns officially).
Judaism has a strong exclusivity dogma, too, (it’s the mother as it were) and it is also harming us in the form of media, movies, deep state, financial system, where Jews are dominating. We usually think we are in the same boat as victims, but it may be more complex. Look at their presence in top positions in US. Indians probably see them as white as they avoid to show their influence and wealth.

Christian Inquisition is in the past’; proselytizing propaganda can be countered by non-UN means.

Other than Hindus, Jews and Christians are persecuted by Muslims in some parts of Africa. Although you are much more experienced than I on this topic, might I humbly suggest that the petition be reworded in a manner that gives it a chance of garnering support from more nations. I suggest taking Islam and Christianity separately.

What do you realistically hope to achieve from this petition? Will it sway even a single dogmatic mind?

You do not hurt others in the name of religion does not mean others will show you the same courtesies. In fact, it will encourage them to abuse you even more because they are sure you won’t retaliate and expose them. It is fair game for them to sit on a safe scaffolding mounted high on the tree and hunt. Even if they miss, they are safe. Better treat others the same way they treat you.

The best defense is an offense. Take the battle to the home ground of Islam and Christianity. Also, counter their every fake narrative with facts and figures, and evidence. At the same time, show them the mirror, their flaws, their horrible history, etc. I am sure most of the members of the young generation are not aware of their real history and how blood-soaked their religion is.
