When you are attentive you can even detect many in mainstream papers, in a small item, or when the name is not mentioned, on Twitter you get hints.
See the discrepancy in reporting the accusation of Swami Chinmayanand (every day a full report) and for example a 7 year old Hindu girl raped and killed by a Muslim who was recently convicted (5 lines), the sentence was to be pronounced but didn’t hear anything further.

I don’t see it as identify based violence, but if your cow is stolen, then it’s natural wanting to beat the guy up, if you get a chance and he doesn’t beat or kill you (also happens and even more but doesn’t get the media coverage). Now in the case of cow stealing, it is almost always a Muslim who steals it. But take the case of mob lynchings due to the rumour of child lifting. So much violence has happened but not much is heard, because it doesn’t support the narrative that Hindus are violent.
Look at Europe. The crimes by certain people are invariably played down and others played up. The same happens in media in India. strange, but it’s a fact.

I see your point that it is extremely difficult (or in your view impossible) to extract a terrorist message from the Hindu faith. My experience of Hinduism and Hindu friends and family convinces me of the same. However, there are people who enact violence as part of their identification with Hinduism. They at least seem to think, however wrongly, that their actions are based in their religion. I suppose it’s really more about their identification with the group. If they had a vibrant practice they probably would not do these things. So, how would you address or talk about the problem of identity based violence against people of other faiths in India?

What a wonderful insights you have about Hinduism and Its significance.
You rightly said that Dharma is a back-bone of Bharata.
Swami Vivekananda said the same thing! Futher He says Everything like science, art etc has to be subordinated to this ideal. He also said to Indians that if they indulge too much on materilism, they will be destroyed in three generations.
I sencerly believe this. As He was Rishi Himself, Satyadrashta.
I request you to put more light on it through separate article that HOW till the date it is true that Dharma is back-bone of India.
