This, literally seems so biased article. The writer blamed one community but failed to highlight how the other is equally abusive or have superiority complex. I have seen even hindus abusing Buddhism. Also she never even mentioned difference other than ‘Atma’, because there are surely more difference.

Buddhism is really yet another version of human experience of one universal truth where self is more relevant than the Super-self as the Super-self is a common entity on which various faiths have been developed.
Thanks for intimating that (i) Buddhism was established by King Ashoka a few centuries after the death of Buddha
(ii) Islam took lead over destruction of Buddhism in India and (iii) Rivalry between Hinduism and Buddhism is not from the side of Hinduism just like that exists between Sikhism and Hinduism. or Jainism or Hinduism

It is high time that learned people like you should save Buddhism from the yet again centuries later of political clutches of its own good including Hinduism and the entire Indic civilization.

The arguments about Buddhism being senior to Vedic religion, with or without proving that the earlier Bodhisatvas had already established Buddhism is yet another thing in the throes of anti-Hindu sounding scholarship.

Added to this is the intellectual bankruptcy in political Hinduism.

I would request scholars like you to take proactive and strong steps.

A minority of scholars can’t run the country but a majority of brutes ruin the country.
