In reply to <a href="http://mariawirth.com/the-problem-with-god/#comment-18356">Edwin</a>.

So God loves the whole world, but allows Hindus into heaven only if they accept Jesus… correct?
Of course you are free to believe this, but it is difficult to believe for those who use common sense. Moreover, when there is a far more satisfying explanation: that “God” (Brahman) permeates everything and everything is in It contained. We can never be separated from Brahman, like the waves cannot be separated from the ocean or the pictures in my dream from my consciousness.
There is no question of some being saved and others not. It is about ‘realising’ one’s true nature. It may take many lives. Never mind. after all, we enjoy being here. Nobody (or at least very few) would like to go voluntarily.

There is no proof that Jesus or Ram or Shiva are special and can save us. You know that the Church only long after his death decided if Jesus is God or man. And also decided that belief in rebirth iswrong (only in 552 CE). But our consciousness is always with us. There we need to find the real truth.

The last para was totally wrong. God loves the entire world, He does not discriminate in loving. Because of the love towards man, He gave a remedy to rescue from our sins.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The above Bible verses demonstrates How God loves us and cares for us. The same time He is just full Hod. Christianity is not a religion with bunch of dos and donts, but relational between Him and us. If I see Christianity is a religion, i may become hypocrite, trying to comply with dos and donts without any love for Him. He is not master, we are not slaves, but father and sons and daughters relationship.

Christianity demonstrates and answers about the origin of this world (creation story) origin of man, relationship with the creator, objective morality, purpose of our existence, destination of our faith, substitute atonement through the blood of Jesus Christ for our sins, and live a holy life not because of dos and donts, but following Him and His teaching of Him who loved us and sacrificed His life in the cross for our sins.

Animal sacrifices are found in every religion, to substitute for our sins. Blood of bulls and rams were shadow for many years before He came down to die on the cross which we deserve for our sins. Atonement - AT ONE MENT, once for all it was paid in the cross and he said “it is finsished”, accounting term that he has “paid in full”, you and me cannot pay the price even if we take many rebirths.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate your comments too.
