I wrote the following post on X and it got many comments, including a comment from someone with a Muslim name. I replied to him and an exchange developed which I share here.
Some Hindus felt, I waste my time in explaining the viewpoint of Hindu Dharma to someone who won’t be open towards it. Yet I feel, it is important to make the basics of Vedic wisdom known. We never really tried to put things in the correct perspective, even when so much misinformation is published all around. Moreover, their clergy won’t give them correct knowledge.
This particular person has probably gone to an English medium school. He probably won’t burn cars on the roads, but we also know that education doesn’t prevent radicalisation and the educated are even more dangerous if they are convinced that Allah wants them to harm Hindus, because Hindus do not accept Him as the only true God.
It was a spontaneous exchange. I didn’t reflect much on my replies. Unfortunately, he was stuck in his ‘law of non-contradiction’ and couldn’t grasp that name and form are temporary, and the essence is eternal simultaneously.
My original post:
Why this opposition and even hatred for Hinduism? The reason may be that India’s wisdom endangers Christianity, Islam and Judaism, because it is empowering the individual and makes sense.
Three important factors are in favour of Hindu Dharma:
1. If people of other religions come to know about the Hindu concept of One Consciousness as the essence of all, they might realize that the concept of a separate and vengeful God in the monotheistic religions is a distortion and cannot be true.
2. If they hear of karma and rebirth, it probably would make more sense to them, than the claim that we all have only one life, which decides if we go to heaven or hell.
3. If they hear that the one consciousness permeates also animals and nature, they might stop this massive daily bloodbath of slaughtering our younger brothers and sisters, the animals, and respect nature.
Comment by @OsamaKhalid
The idea of multiple gods can never make sense to sane minds. There is but One Almighty Who reigns. The concept of equally powerful gods is nonsense
2. Karma is the one of the most diabolical concepts one could endorse. What you confused with vengeance is justice.
My reply:
You are right. the Source of everything must be one. the Vedas were the first to postulate the one source (Brahman, pure consciousness). Like all other forms and names, devas (and asuras) are within Maya, only longer lived and more powerful but not eternal.
Names and forms are like the temporary waves on the eternal ocean (Brahman). It means the Divine is within us. This knowledge lifts Hindu Dharma above the ‘monotheistic’ religions.
imo, the idea of a vengeful, separate God as being the one source behind this universe can never make sense to sane a mind, isn’t it? Check out my new book “Why Hindu Dharma is under attack by Muslims, Christians and the Left…”
Osama Khalid’s reply
Basically, for the 1st comment, you have fallen prey to the law of non-contradiction which the monotheistic religion doesn’t suffer from.
Again, what you confuse with vengeance is justice. A result for one’s efforts makes sense to sane minds.
My reply:
I don’t get what you mean in your first para – eternal oneness versus temporary plurality is no contradiction. Compare the one movie screen with the plurality of changing pictures on it.
And yes, result for efforts makes sense but, eternal hell for being born in the “wrong” family?? Does this make sense?
His reply:
Exactly, the example of law of non-contradiction, the changing pictures represent the mortal despite being the part of immortal i.e. the eternal. Its illogical either the picture is fully mortal or immortal. Who doesn’t know the reward is also eternal?
My reply:
It’s not illogical. The screen is ever the same, the pictures are ever changing. Yet when you touch any “thing” in the movie, you touch only the screen. The screen is the essence of all, similarly, Brahman is the essence in this Lila or Maya.
Try to understand, not just try to refute. Imo, Vedic wisdom is top. Your ancestors discovered it.
His reply:
It’s illogical since the picture/essence can either be immortal or mortal, can’t be both simultaneously. It’s like saying one likes hot-cold ice-cream. I am simply answering to your responses. &, btw, it’s was your original post which tried to refute monotheism.
My reply:
Can’t you see that the pictures are not the same (‘eternal’ doesn’t apply here as no analogy is fully apt for the truth) and the screen is the same simultaneously? Btw this ‘screen – movie analogy’ was given by Ramana Maharshi.
Monotheism postulates a separate, Creator-God somewhere in heaven. Monism or panentheism (Indian view, but why should we speak Greek?) is closer to truth. Truth does not fit into logic. but it also does not contradict it.
To defend logically the position that there is a separate God without addressing the question where it came from and with what he made the universe, is difficult.
The Rishis claim: something (not a thing of course) eternally is/exists (consciousness and it can be felt in yourself) and out of that the universe ‘appears’.
I really wish, Muslims would understand that their disdain for Hinduism is unjustified. Meditation is helpful to understand.
The division between Hindus and Muslims fits so well into the agenda of the deep state to divide societies everywhere.
Why should we do its bidding?
So far I haven’t heard back to my last comment.

Mariaji, your response to Osama Khalid have been appropriate. You have explained it so well. But the brainwashing on the other side is so strong, that despite being not logical, he sticks to track. But, as they put it ,even continuous water flow can alter the profile of rocks ! Hope that our efforts would bear at some point of time.
Warm Regards
Vimal
yes, he was not logical in his replies
NOTE: reading and knowing is only secondary form compared to experiencing and knowing as affirmed by Sri Adi Shankaracharya and many enlightened ones irrespective of race or religion or geography or caste or creed or gender.

Shiva = universal soul or Bramhan(holy Vedas use this term to refer to GOD and is different from the term Bramhin. The one who experienced Brahman is Brahmin and not merely being born to someone who experienced Brahman or just reading books doesn’t make one automatically Brahmin. Also referred as Heavenly Father or Allah or Waheguru or paramatma or Vishnu or Rudra or Krishna or Rama or universal counciousness or Paramatma etc, who is all pervading and all knowing and almighty who is within and beyond existence yet in total control over existence. This Shiva term is interchangeably used with shiva, the destroyer,in Hinduism, but for all practical purposes you can consider one and same. THERE IS AN UNCHANGING ESSENCE (counciousness)AND CHANGING ESSENCE (councious manifesting as existence)IN THIS EXISTENCE. AND CHANGING ESSENCE IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF UNCHANGING ESSENCE AND BOTH CHANGING AND UNCHANGING IS ALL GOD. Individualized unchanging essence(or soul) come into existence as life to experience the existence and is called as jivatma or life.
Aadi Parashakti=The primordial power(Prana or life force or energy )that is the source(energy) of this manifestation(also referred as Holy Ghost by lord Jesus)This primordial energy is termed as Aadi Para Shakti because it’s Aadi means first and foremost expressed before any of the existing is expressed,Para means the one whose origin is not in the manifestation or existence,Shakti means energy. Now this Aadi Para Shakti is nothing but the Almighty GOD or Shiva thyself. The thing is that this primordial force is behind the will of his being implemented into different attributes at different realms. There is absolutely no difference between this primordial force(the Aadi parashakti or Heavenly ghost) and the almighty thyself and the attributes of this manifestation like universal mind ,universal body, universal will etc because ALL THAT EXISTS ,EXISTS AS ONE WITHOUT SECOND and with NO beginning and NO middle and NO end.
This is why they say “Sarvam Bramha Mayam Jagat”.
This is similar to saying my body,my mind,my will power,my intelligence,my thoughts,me(the soul)are all me,and I cannot say I am different from my body or my mind or my will power or my thoughts because they all arise from me and collapse in me.
jiva (jivatma)= individualized soul that is living(the state of life in the existence is a fallen state of the soul) by drawing the life force called as “Prana” or the primordial energy.soul or speck of counciousness descends to the existence(existence is in multiple realms like physical, astral and causal realms)due to desires to experience the existence. life force or prana permeates existence.
Atma(soul)=speck of the universal soul or universal consciousness or you can refer to as “piece of GOD” which is an unchanging essence in all of individuality. Lord Jesus termed soul as son of GOD.The individuality is nothing but caused by ego and desires.
–
once desires reduce and there by have the realization of self as not the bodily senses nor the sense of mind(or any of the attributes of this existence like intelligence or will power etc), you will start to realize you are the ever existing speck (soul)of the ever existing universal soul. Once ego also reduces or is totally gone, you will perceive self as nothing but the Universal soul or universal consciousness or Bramhan or Allah or Paramatma or Heavenly Father or Waheguru or Parabramha. This highest state of perception of universal oneness is mostly perceived by many for brief moments of time but highly enlightened ones are always in this state of universal consciousness. It’s very very rare for an average person to come across such enlightened ones who are constantly in the universal counciousness state and still maintain their body in physical realm but they do exist.
Nirvana shatkam (by Sri Adi Shankaracharya)affirms that you are not the body nor the mind nor the will power nor any of the attributes of this existence (that has basis in GOD and referred as attributes of GOD)but an ever existence almighty itself but at a much smaller in capacity. At this stage you will declare “tat twam asi” or you are that. Once you loose ego too completely, then you will declare “sarvam Bramhamayam Jagat “. You don’t have to be in these states all the time but even a momentary experience of these states is enough to declare these truths , just as you don’t have to be living on top of Eiffel Tower all the time,to know complete g view of the ground ,but a brief ascent to top is sufficient.
Just like they way we perceive the universal body(this physical realm)only whenever we are of realization of self as the physical senses(for most part majority people are in this state or mind realization) ,we perceive universal mind only whenever we are of realization of self as sense of mind,we perceive universal will power only when we have self realization as will power, we perceive all attributes of GOD whenever we have realization of self as those attributes, finally when we realize self as an ever existing soul or speck of counciousness, then and then only in that soul state we will perceive universal soul or universal counciousness of GOD, which is the essence of the entire existence.
Even a brief moment of realization of self as soul will free us from the pain of death because death is for the attributes like physical world or mind or time etc that are ever changing but not for the soul or essence of GOD that is the only unchanging entity in an individual.
This is affirmed by “Nainam chindanti shastrani ….” Shloka of holy Bhagavadgeetha and Nirvana shatkam by Sri Adi Shankaracharya.

References in Holy Vedas(3500 years old)/ Upanishads (2500 years old)for the Advaita philosophy(that GOD is all pervading and all knowing and almighty who is one without a second and exists within existence and beyond existence yet have complete control over this existence)which is the ultimate philosophy beyond which there is nothing to say . An individual due to ignorance caused by ego and desires perceive the undivided one in to many. This is the highest philosophy beyond which there is nothing to say but only remaining is we experiencing it personally.having personal experiences of GOD is what all holy scriptures call for. The more you reduce ego and desires the more you will start to perceive the universal oneness. The term used in Vedas for GOD is “Bramhan”, and one who experienced Bramhan(even for a split second is enough )is Bramhin(believer by experiencing it and not by reading with physical senses). Check Wikipedia for these:
1. Nasadiya Sukta and Devi Sukta from Rig Veda (Rig Veda is proven to be more that atleast 3500 years old)(See Wikipedia for each of them)— Affirm that there whatever exists, exists as one without second and that everyone and everything and everywhere is Bramhan or GOD or Paramatma. Devi Sukta was written by woman saint affirming gender equality.
2. sarvam khalv idam brahma — All this is Brahman (Muṇḍaka 2.2.11 & Chāṇḍogya. 3.14.1)
3. ātmaivedam sarvam iti — all this is ātman (Chāṇḍogya 7.25.2)
4. ayam ātma brahma — this ātman is the Brahman (Māṇḍukya 1:2)
5. neha nānāsti kiñcana — There is nothing (other than Brahman) anywhere. (Chāṇḍogya 3.14.1)
6. ātmā vā idam eka evāgra āsīt — at first, there was ātman alone (Aitareya Up. 1.1 & Brhadaraṇyaka 1.4.1)
7. brahma vā idam agra āsīt — Brahman indeed was this in the beginning. (Brhadaraṇyaka 1.4.10)
8. sad eva saumya idam agra āsīd ekam advitīyam.— Then, Being (Sat) alone was there at the beginning and it was one without a second. (Chāṇḍogya 6.2.1.)
9. ātmani khalv are vijñāte idam sarvam viditam — once the ātman is known everything is known (Brhadaraṇyaka 4.5.6)
10. aham brahmāsmi — I am Brahman (Brhadaraṇyaka 1.4.10)
11. tat-tvam asi — You are THAT (Chāṇḍogya 6.11)[Famous Kerala Ayyappa Swamy temple has this in front of it]
12. prajñānam brahma — Brahman is consciousness (Aitareya 3.5.3)
13. eko’ham bahusyām – “I am ONE let me become MANY” (Chāṇḍogya Up. 5:2:3.
14. Entire Holy Bhagavadgeetha affirms Advaita philosophy again and again.
[most of above list Courtesy:Rami Sivan]
You might say GOD is creator and that this existence is his creation and thus GOD and his creation are two separate and that creation is inferior to the GOD. However note that GOD did not borrow(because he is one without the second)the resources required to create this existence but used his own energy and his own will power to manifest the existence at different realms including this physical world and hence everything is nothing but GOD. There is no difference between GOD and his will and his energy used to have this existence manifested. For example , in the case of a human king himself, we cannot say king is different and his desire and thoughts and will and laws are different, so I respect king but I cannot respect his laws. Then How can this argument that “I respect GOD but I cannot respect his creation” be applicable to the GOD who is one without a second. Infact among the 99 attributes of god in Islam has one attribute as “Al waasi” to
Mean all pervading.

——— WHAT IS SOUL AND WHY REALIZATION OF SELF AS SOUL IS ESSENTIAL AND INTERMEDIATE STEP IN FINDING ULTIMATE TRUTH———
Nirvana shatkam by Sri Adi Shankaracharya will help in people In realization of self as soul (pure unchanging counciousness)and in such state of self realization of self as soul only one can perceive the presence of the universal soul , which lord Jesus called the universal soul as Heavenly Father and the soul as the son.
The unchanging essence of all individuals is nothing but soul. The unchanging essence of GOD is universal soul. The changing essence of individuals is their physical bodies, mind, intelligence, memory, chitta, buddhi etc attributes. Same way the changing essence of GOD is the body if GOD which includes this entire existence at physical realm, the mind realm, the memory realm, the intelligence realm etc multiple realms corresponding to those attributes. Highest realm being the soul realm .
You as an individual can not perceive a specific realm without you yourself realizing self as that specific realm. For example you cannot perceive light energy without realizing that you are the eye or you focus your attention on your eye. Even if you are looking at some thing but if you are not focusing your attention on your eyes (or you have no realization that you are eye at that moment in time), you cannot perceive the objects that your eyes are showing you. Same way you cannot perceive universal soul without you first realizing self as soul.
As per recent understanding based in scientific experiments,Humans have a much higher evolved capability to conscious experiences compared to other species in the evolutionary world. This is why humans can have personal experiences of self as soul when tried consciously .
1)Christian Heavenly Father is Hindu Universal soul/Paramatma/Bramhan who exists within existence & beyond and has no birth and death.
2)Son is Soul/Aatma/speck of counciousness(any individual who realizes self as soul¬ body/mind is “son of GOD” and soul is the only begotten son,and not body or mind)
3)Holy Ghost is Aadi Shakti/primordial force required for the drama of existence to go on. This force creates/sustains/assimilates countless universes at different realms.
– Only universal ONENESS –
For Hinduism(Vedic wisdom/Sanatana dharma), documentation wise, Holy Vedas/Holy Upanishads/Holy Bhagavadgeetha are main with Holy Bhagavadgeetha being the easiest if you are beginner. If you want Vedic wisdom in action, you can read Autobiography of a yogi by Paramahamsa Yogananda.

Lord Jesus never claimed exclusive patent on the almighty & all pervading GOD.
He mean to say that anyone who has the realization of self as soul(son of GOD) & not the body or mind, will realize the presence of the universal soul (Heavenly Father. This is essence of all religions.
——————
Realizing self as soul is the only way to have the realization/knowing of presence of Universal Soul. With realization of self as body and mind, u are experiencing the presence of this material existence or Universal Body(or GODs body to say symbolically) and universal mind.Mind includes mind, intelligence, will power, ego etc. similarly with the realization of self as soul, one will start to perceive the presence of GOD or universal soul or universal counciousness or Allah or Heavenly Father etc. to have such realization one must remove/reduce desires and ego, because this way one starts to calm down the physical senses and mind there by realization of self as an ever existing soul(as said in Holy Bhagavadgeetha) starts to occur. Only in soul state one can perceive the presence of Universal Soul or GOD. You can employ different ways to calm body and mind like yoga, meditation, selfless service to others, work without exceptions (serve others as if they are nothing but your own self means work for them without expectation because you serve your own self without expectation but not when you have a feeling of difference), developing unconditional love for one and all or devotion etc all methods based on your mind status. You can use any of these methods or all all methods or a combination depending on your mood or bent of your mind. The idea is to maximize the time you spend in spiritual enlightenment process.
——————
Merely saying with senses that I submitted to Almighty is nothing. Merely thinking in mind that as submitted to all pervading and almighty is also nothing.
The only submission that is true submission is by realization of self as not the body and nor the mind but an ever existing soul and then experiencing the perception of universal soul or all pervading almighty, will only lead to true submission. Great Sufi Saint Jalaluddin Rumi says below:
“If you look at Qur’an with your eyes, you will see words. If you look at it with your brain, you will see knowledge. If you look at it with your heart, you will see love. If you look at it with your soul, you will see God.”
By this standard anyone who realizes self as soul will find GOD or have a realization of GOD and such person is the true Muslim and such person is the True Bramhin and such person is the True son of GOD. Same applies to Holy Bible, Holy Bhagavadgeetha, Holy Upanishads, Holy Guru Granth Sahib etc.
Holy Prophet never wrote or read anything as he didn’t know how to read or write. He never wrote Holy Quran personally during his lifetime in the current form. Stop spreading ignorance that the book was written by holy prophet. In fact if Almighty willing, holy prophet himself would have made a single book while he was alive.
Holy Prophet had revelations since age 40 till his passing at age 63, which is 23 years long. He was surrounded by different people at different times and 23 years is a very long time. He didn’t personally verify anything if what he told was exactly written down or not as he cannot.
There were multiple versions during his time and as long as he was with the body.
There were multiple versions until 12 years of his passing as well, and for these 12 years good people(Abu Bakr and Umar) led the mission.
But after 12 years his son in law (Uthman)who is a shrewd businessman who promoted nepotism/selfishness took over and destroyed all versions and created one new version. He even started Jizya tax on non Muslims which was not even done in the entire life time of Holy Prophet. In fact Holy Mother Aisha opposed Uthman. On top of that any sincere person would have preserved all versions and would have kept or designated one version as main one with references to different versions which he didn’t do.
This is all in Wikipedia. Search for Quran, list of Islamic caliphate and read it.Nothing is my own.
Holy prophet wanted others to experience god just as he did so he didn’t focus much on creating a gang but want to make his message spread naturally, but later uthman manipulated this and cooked up a book that was used to commit genocide against Hindus and Zoroastrians and others.
